The scope shots below show the input current and the input voltage waveforms captured while executing a magnetization command on a FG40 at various supply voltages. These are not part of the official product documentation because we do not commit to any specific power waveforms, and may change them arbitrarily between firmware and/or hardware revisions while staying within the broad envelope specified in the official documentation. This is provided for informational purposes only and may not match what one might measure on any specific unit.

The plots below show the current and voltage during the standard three magnetization pulses captured at supply voltage of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 V, in that order; all use the same X scale for convenience, which is why the higher-voltage plots look compressed as the unit attempts to operate in the constant current mode. The zoomed-in section shows a single pulse up-close.

The demagnetization sequence starts out similarly with gradual decay of the energy transferred per each executed pulse.
